Payments & invoices
Card payments and deposits straight from your CRM
Clientee CRM sends customers a payment link by SMS or email, takes a deposit at the time of booking and charges recurring membership fees. Payments run through Stripe, so customers pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or SEPA, and PayPal is supported too. Your accounting tool keeps issuing tax invoices, and we connect it to the CRM.

How payments in the CRM work
- 01/06
Payment links by SMS and email
Send a link with the amount, and the customer pays from their phone by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment is recorded on the contact right away.
- 02/06
Deposit at booking
The booking calendar can ask for a deposit or the full amount when the customer books. Turn deposits on only for the services that need them.
- 03/06
Quotes accepted online
Send a quote, the customer accepts it in the browser, and it turns into a payment request.
- 04/06
Recurring payments
Memberships, monthly servicing or a course subscription. The card is charged at the interval you set, and you see each payment on the contact.
- 05/06
Reminders for unpaid amounts
If a payment link stays unpaid, an automation sends a polite reminder. Once it's paid, the messages stop.
- 06/06
Connection to your accounting
Xero, QuickBooks or another tool keeps issuing your invoices. We send payment data to it through an integration or API, depending on what that tool supports.

Where you wait for money
- 01
Deposits are hard to collect
A customer books an appointment and doesn't show. Asking for a deposit by bank transfer means sending account details and then checking statements.
- 02
You don't know who hasn't paid
The invoice went out three weeks ago. You only find out whether it's paid by checking the bank, and someone has to write the reminder by hand.
- 03
The payment lives apart from the customer
You see the money in the bank, the job in a spreadsheet and the agreement on your phone. Putting it together takes an evening.

We connect Stripe
We help you create or connect a Stripe account and set up your currency, products and services.
- 02
We turn on payments where they make sense
Bookings, quotes, payment links or recurring payments. We only set up what you'll actually use.
- 03
We talk to your accountant
We work out how payments will flow into your accounting tool so invoices and statements match.
How we think about it
People pay most easily right after you agree, while the phone is still in their hand.
(04) FAQ
Questions about payments and invoices
01Will this replace my invoicing software?
No. Invoices in the CRM may not meet every country's VAT and accounting rules, such as numbering series, VAT breakdowns or the required details on a tax invoice. Keep issuing official invoices in your accounting tool. The CRM tracks the payment and your communication with the customer.
02Which payment gateway does it use?
Mainly Stripe, which handles cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA and other methods. PayPal and several other gateways are supported too. If you rely on a local payment provider or bank-transfer QR codes, we check first whether they can be connected, since many aren't built in.
03When does the money reach my account?
Payments go to your Stripe account and from there to your bank account according to your payout settings. Stripe charges payment fees according to its own pricing.
04Can I ask for a deposit only for some services?
Yes. You set the deposit on a specific calendar or service, for example only for first visits or for longer treatments.
05Will I see payments on the customer's record?
Yes. On the contact you see quotes and recurring payments, plus every amount that's been paid or is still open. An unpaid link can trigger an automatic reminder.
