For auto repair shops
CRM for auto repair shops that remember every car
A garage has customers who come back on their own: for the MOT or inspection, a service or a tyre change. Someone just has to remind them before a competitor does. Clientee CRM keeps each customer's cars on file, lets them book online, texts them when the car is ready and gets in touch at the right time about the next visit.
(01) A model week
A week at a garage
Nobody in the workshop has clean hands for the phone. So the CRM handles bookings, job updates and reminders by message.
↳ A garage: three mechanics and a front desk
-
01Mon 7:30
Nobody in the workshop picks up
The caller gets a text straight away with an apology and a link to book online. Anyone who wants to speak to a person gets a call back from the front desk.
What it does -
02Mon 9:10
An online booking
The customer picks a service (servicing, tyres, diagnostics) and a free slot. The registration number, car model and next MOT date are saved to the contact.
What it does -
03Tue 11:40
Extra work needed
The mechanic finds worn brakes. The front desk sends the customer a photo and the price on WhatsApp, and the customer replies “yes”. The approval stays saved with the job.
What it does -
04Tue 15:20
The car is ready
The mechanic moves the job to the Done stage. The customer gets a text saying the car is ready to collect, with the opening hours. Nobody rings the front desk to ask “Is it ready yet?”.
What it does -
05Wed 10:00
Review request
The day after collection, a short message arrives with a link to leave a Google review.
What it does -
06Month before the MOT
MOT reminder
From the saved date, the CRM knows the car's MOT or inspection is due. The customer gets a text with a link to book the pre-check and the test.
What it does -
07Before winter
Winter check
Customers who had their car in with you this year get an invitation to a winter check or tyre change, with a link to free slots.
What it does
Illustrative example. The business is made up, the workflow isn't: we set times, message wording and stages to fit your business.

Where garages lose customers
- 01
The phone in the workshop
The mechanic can't pick up and the front desk has a queue. The customer calls the garage down the road.
- 02
The customer has to remember the MOT
And they forget. They turn up when a warning light comes on, or go elsewhere because that garage reminded them.
- 03
“Is my car ready?”
A large share of calls to the front desk are about the car's status. Every one of those calls holds up the work.

What a garage gets from the CRM
- 01/06

They go out on their own based on the car's dates. Enter them once and forget about it.

- 06/06
Seasonal invitations

How we think about it
Garage customers come back on their own. As long as someone reminds them it's time.
(04) Getting started
From your services to the first MOT reminder
- 01
We go through your services and workshop capacity
What services you offer, how long they take and how many cars you can handle at once.
- 02
We set up the car details
Fields for registration, model, MOT and service dates that drive the reminders.
- 03
We connect bookings and messages
Online booking on your website and Google profile, texts for missed calls and job status updates.
- 04
We show it to the front desk and the workshop

(05) FAQ
Questions from garages
01Will it replace our garage management software?
No. Keep your garage software for job cards, parts and invoicing. The CRM handles customers, bookings and communication. We check whether your garage software can be connected based on the one you use.
02How does the CRM know when a car's MOT is due?
The date is saved to the car when the customer books, or the front desk enters it. The reminder goes out on its own based on that date.
03Does it suit a tyre centre too?
Yes. You send tyre invitations only to people who bought tyres from you or have tyres in storage with you, at the time of year that suits your customers.
04Do mechanics need to operate anything?
Very little. They just move the job to the next stage on a phone or tablet. The customer messages then go out on their own.
05Are we allowed to send customers MOT reminders?
A reminder about a service the customer uses with you is usually sent as a service message. Marketing offers go only with consent and an option to unsubscribe. We add the consent to your booking form.
